Fajitas are a delectable meal, and perfect for lunch or dinner.

Soups: Many Americans forget how exquisite a soup can be. However, with this amazing ethnic cuisine, the soup is revisited. Soups generally differ from region to region. Regardless, folks can expect to see plenty of local fresh vegetables and fruit used in creating these divine dishes. In fact, soup can be hearty enough for a main course, or delicate enough to sip after the dinner is finished.

Tres Leches Cake: For dessert folks can delight themselves in this wonderful, traditional dessert. It is created using three types of milk. Basically, Tres Leches Cake is a type of delectable sponge cake that is soaked in a variety of milks, absorbing the sweetness of the milks. Rather than the traditional cream cheese frosting, a type of whipped cream is added to the top of this dessert.

Enchiladas: Few things are a staple of delicious Mexican food like enchiladas. An enchilada is a corn tortilla that has been wrapped around a variety of ingredients. Patrons have the option of choosing cheese, chicken, shrimp, beef or a variance thereof. An enchilada is topped with a variety of sauces ranging from the very mild to the very spicy.

Burritos: A favorite for most people would have to be the burrito. A burrito is usually a large flour tortilla with a filling of meat. There are also vegetarian burritos as well. The meat choices are typically shrimp, chicken, pork, or beef. Patrons have the option to stuff their burritos with other food choices as well. They can fill them with rice, beans, cheese, vegetables, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo. Burritos can also come “wet”, which means that they are topped with a sauce and cheese.

Deciding on a favorite is not easy. There are so many ingredients to appreciate. Each dish offers an authentic flavor. There are many types of ingredients that are combined to make delicious Mexican food. Choosing just one takes a lot of time and trying different dishes. Once someone has discovered their favorite, it is hard to try anything else on the menu.
